Customer astonished by World First Travel Insurance
13 July 2011 11:47
A customer from Cornwall was shopping around for travel insurance for her Mum as she had been turned away by the company that had previously insured her. The family was so looking forward to a relaxing Mediterranean cruise, it was a real concern.
Making arrangements for Mum were proving difficult. She is 85 and has Spondylosis, Osteoarthritis, and Pulmonary Fibrosis. One company could offer insurance for £1054, which was more than the cost of the holiday itself. Everyone was beginning to despair. Finding World First through an online search, specifying 80+ insurance and medical conditions, turned the situation around. World First asked practically the same questions and could offer the same level of cover for £226.27. The other company justified their premium saying it would be necessary to airlift Mum from a cruise ship for medical treatment. World First's policy would cover both overland and air transportation should the need arise.
The customer making the arrangements says, "The value and service from World First is simply astonishing. I wish I had found them years ago. When I think back we previously paid £800 for insurance for Mum's holidays with us, well World First is incomparable!
Everyone is now looking forward to setting sail from Southampton on 4 September for a fantastic holiday, taking in Spain, Portugal and France.
The customer adds "I'll always go to World First for Mum's travel insurance and when our annual policy is due for renewal, although we've been with our insurer for years, I'll try World First for my husband and me too."
