Thanks to World First I will be at my grand-daughter's graduation

Mr Stillwell, 87, had all but given up hope that he would be able to make the very special trip to see his grand-daughter graduate from Law School in Philadelphia this summer. World First Travel Insurance came to his rescue when his existing travel insurer refused to cover him. He couldn't understand it as his circumstances are the same as when he last travelled to see his family in the States, other than being a year older.
Mr Stillwell has asthma and emphysema which he controls using prescription medicines and inhalers. When his carer declared these to insurance companies they would either be unable to insure him or it was prohibitively expensive.
Mr Stillwell says, "My carer and I spent three days on the phone trying to get insurance for our month long trip. We must have called more than 30 companies. We were being quoted an average of £1,000 for insurance with medical cover or £500 without. We were absolutely thrilled when World First quoted just £500 for travel insurance for up to 30 days, which included cover for my pre-existing medical conditions."
Miss Hay adds, "I was so impressed with World First Travel Insurance that I got cover with them at the same time as well. Their service is really competitive and professional. I've now had a lot of experience of travel insurance companies and I wouldn't use anyone else."
