Do World First offer special rates for single-parent families?
Yes. Both our single-trip travel insurance and annual multi-trip travel insurance policies include special rates for single-parent families. The definition is one adults and up to four children under 18 who live at home.
If we buy annual travel insurance can each member of the family go on holiday independently of the others?
Yes. That is the beauty of having annual multi-trip cover with World First. You'll also be insured for business trips and over 75 sports too. For a small additional premium you can extend your cover and convert it to a ski travel insurance policy.
What is the maximum length of time we can be away on holiday for when buying family travel insurance?
We can insure any trip lasting up to a year. Our annual policies cover trips lasting either 31 or 62 days at a time, but you can travel as often as you like.
Do you offer a 24-hour emergency helpline for families?
World First Travel Insurance are one of the leading independent travel insurance specialists. We have contracted the leading providers of assistance services for the benefit of all our policyholders. Our emergency team are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to arrange admission to hospital, ambulance transfers and repatriation follwing an accident or illness whilst on holiday.
Our son has cancer. Can you offer him travel insurance?
We are able to insure certain types of cancer and where it is not possible, we have a direct relationship with a team of cancer travel insurance specialists and will be happy to transfer your call.
We are taking gran and grandad with us and they are aged 76 and 88. Do you offer travel insurance for people aged up to 100?
Yes. Our single trip polcies cover anyone up to the age of 100 and if your family have any health problems and need travel insurance for pre existing medical conditions we can arrange that too either online or via our helpline on 0845 90 80 161.
