Cape Verde property 'popular with Brits'
02 October 2009 06:42
An annual travel insurance policy could be next on the shopping list for people who decide to invest in property in Cape Verde.
According to managing director of Cape Verde real estate firm Noscasa Paul Akwei, the island - which is off the western coast of Africa - is still popular for Brits looking to buy a property abroad.
He noted that the company is "quite confident" about the state of the property market and he also commented that there is likely to be a price increase on homes of around five per cent in the next month or so - which could make now the best time for Brits to invest.
Making sure their budget can stretch to all the expense linked with buying a new home may be wise for British property investors.
If the property is to be used as a holiday home, checking that their travel insurance policy covers for regular trips may prove to be essential.
