Business travel 'will begin to grow'
15 October 2009 09:11
The business travel sector will start to grow around six months after the end of the recession, it has been claimed - which may see demand for business travel insurance also on the rise.
According to corporate travel management firm Egencia, there will be more demand for business travel in the second quarter of 2010.
As well as dedicated travel insurance cover for business travel, those who frequently jet off to sunnier climes with their job could find an annual holiday insurance policy better value for money.
Vice-president and managing director for the UK at Egencia Christophe Peymirat said that businesses are still on the lookout for the best value for money with their business travel.
Findings from hotel firm Hilton Hotels recently showed that when it comes to travelling for work, 83 per cent of business people state that the most important aspect of business travel is to do with developing personal relationships.
