Travel insurance 'vital' for fitness breaks
Increasing numbers of people are attempting to keep their New Year's resolutions by keeping fit, but many are heading abroad to do so.
Fitness enthusiasts are increasingly booking trips abroad, along with health and travel insurance to make sure they are covered for their activity breaks in the sun.
Some of the top activity breaks listed by the Flight Centre, which claims it has seen a strong interest in healthy trips, include taking on Tai Chi in China.
Those looking for a healthy break and some time to relax, luxury yoga and health breaks in India are also proving popular.
Brazil and Argentina are also top of the list for a good location for fitness buffs, with Brazilians practising capoeria as a sport and a way to keep fit.
And in Japan, travellers can take up the ancient art of kendo, which is ideally learnt in the heart of downtown Tokyo.
