Orlando 'still affordable for Brits'
23 December 2009 12:48
Travel insurance customers looking for a place to jet off to on holiday this winter could consider a trip to Florida.
PR manager at holidaylettings.co.uk Kate Stinchcombe said that the city of Orlando is an affordable place for holidaying Brits to visit, despite the potential high cost of flights and the Air Passenger Duty they have to pay.
Orlando was recently featured in the ebookers.com top ten holiday destinations for next year, alongside other Florida destination Miami Beach, which could make the state ideal for Brits looking for the ideal place to head to after getting travel insurance.
Those planning on taking the whole family could find a group or annual travel insurance policy better value for money than one-off cover for each member of the party.
Commenting on Orlando, Ms Stinchcombe said: "Orlando is a hugely popular family holiday destination thanks to the enormous pull of Disney World and the many other family oriented attractions in this area."
