Brazil 'a lot more accessible' for British tourists'
24 September 2009 09:17
The South American country of Brazil is becoming increasingly accessible to Brits due to a rise in the number of air routes between the UK and Brazil, it has been pointed out.
According to figures from the Brazilian Tourist Board, since 2008, the number of tourists visiting Brazil has risen by more than 2.3 per cent.
For those Brits looking to get travel insurance and jet off to sunnier climes, Brazil could offer all sorts of different type of excursion, it is also noted.
According to Laura Rendell-Dunn, spokeswoman for Journey Latin America, "Brazil offers so many types of holidays - not only beach holidays but wildlife holidays, cultural holidays, adventure holidays - it is a destination that will appeal to any kind of person."
Adventure travel insurance could be a wise investment for those planning an active break, but such cover could also prove to be essential even to Brits planning a lazy two-week beach-based getaway.
