Croatia 'has lots of tradition'

Travel insurance could be next on the list of holidaymakers looking to jet off to Croatia to take advantage of the country's parks, lakes and mountains.
When travelling abroad, travel insurance could be an essential buy but could prove even more important for those planning on taking part in outdoor activities on their break.
Vesna Maric, one of the authors of the Lonely Planet guide to Croatia, said that the country offers a lot of tradition and the chance for people to take a holiday away from the crowds.
"The sea is fantastic, it is very family friendly. The peak season is for a limited time and for most of the year it is lovely and not so crowded," she notes.
She goes on to point out that Croatia is rich in lakes and mountains, which could make it the ideal destination for thrill-seeking Brits searching for somewhere to take a holiday this year.
