Aspen to draw the crowds ahead of ski season
A range of activities have been billed to take place this summer on Aspen Mountain in order to draw in the crowds.
Bluegrass Sundays - where a wide variety of bands such as Joe Hurley & The Gents and The Porchlights will be entertaining the summer mountain trekkers - kicks off on June 21st.
And many fun-filled activities will be taking place over the next few months, including alpine sightseeing and hiking, disc golf, guided nature walks, open-air yoga and obstacle courses.
Juggling workshops, storytelling and kite flying sessions are also being offered to help keep the kids entertained.
People thinking of taking a trip up the mountain to take part in the activities may want to consider getting travel insurance to ensure they are covered for any events.
Aspen Mountain, located in the Rockies in Colorado, stands at 3,267 feet above the centre of downtown Aspen.
Recently, its Silver Queen Gondola was given a major overhaul and the resort now features 147 Swiss-made cabins with space for six people to sleep.
