World First release travel insurance check-list

A leading provider of travel cover has released a seven-point checklist, which informs holiday-makers of a number of tips to use when buying travel insurance.
World First Travel Insurance has disclosed that it is hoping to ensure that British consumers are aware of their level of protection when purchasing travel policies with the information.
Specifically, the company has advised that holiday-makers check that their policy meets their needs, verify that their agent is authorised by the Financial Services Authority and ensure that their destination is deemed safe by the Foreign Commonwealth Office.
In addition, World First Travel Insurance explained that consumers must declare all of their medical conditions, discuss whether they plan to undertake any "hazardous activities", think about their valuables and consider purchasing annual travel insurance.
Earlier this week, travelbite.co.uk suggested that countries outside of the Eurozone are becoming increasingly popular, as their low-cost allows Brits to allocate travel insurance budgets.
