WHERE ARE YOU TRAVELLING?
World First premiums are calculated depending on where you are travelling. Simply select the region you'll be visiting or double-check with our full country list. Unfortunately, World First cannot cover any country to which the Foreign & Commonwealth Office advises against visiting.

DO YOU NEED WINTER SPORTS COVER?
If you're going skiing or snowboarding you'll need our winter sports extension to ensure you are fully protected with World First. Click here for a full list of winter sports activities. Cover is provided for your ski pack, equipment expenses, piste closure and emergency medical expenses whilst you're away.

DO YOU NEED ACCOMMODATION COVER?
If you are backpacking or visiting friends or family and are not booking any hotels or holiday accommodation in advance, you can choose to cover only your pre-booked travel and transport costs against cancellation.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO COVER YOUR LUGGAGE?
You can choose to exclude cover for your luggage and money if you would like to reduce the cost of your tailored travel insurance. It may already be covered by your household contents policy. Not available if winter sports cover is required.

ABOUT YOU AND OTHER TRAVELLERS
If you are travelling alone, with your partner or children who are under 18 and live at home, then simply enter their details under "about you" on the left-hand side.
If anyone else is travelling, then you'll need a group policy. Simply tell us how many "other travellers" there are in each of the 4 age groups on the right-hand side.

You want snow, and plenty of it. We want to give you insurance, with plenty of cover.
Ski Equipment and other Expenses
- Loss, damage or breakage of skis, snowboards, binding and other equipment owned by you up to £400
- Loss or breakage of skis and equipment which you have hired up to £300
- Up to £300 to hire equipment if you lose or damage your own or if they are delayed by your tour operator and you are without them for more than 12-hours.
Ski Pack
- Up to £400 to cover the costs of your ski pass, ski hire or tuition fees if you cannot ski or snowboard following an accident, sickness or loss/theft of your ski pass.
Piste Closure and Avalanche
- If you are unable to ski for anything more than 12-hours due to conditions at the winter sports resort we’ll pay you £20 per day so you can travel to an alternative resort and cover the costs of the additional ski pass. If no alternative resort is available, we will still pay you £20 per day to spend as you wish
