People planning holidays in Spain can catch flights to Malaga and Alicante from Bristol Airport
Travellers based in south-west England can look forward to some new holiday destinations as Bristol Airport is expected to add several new routes to its services.
Following the Routes Europe conference in Sardinia, managers of the base have said they are confident that "new destinations are in the pipeline".
The options for new flights were discussed at the industry event which took place in the summer holiday location of Cagliari from May 8 to May 10.
The potential for new services to be launched from the Bristol base was highlighted by representatives through an iPad presentation.
After the conference, the airport released a statement saying: ""Feedback was positive, and several new route announcements are expected in the coming months as a result."
Holidaymakers are advised to ensure they have adequate
travel insurance in place before heading off on a foreign trip.
People can catch flights to Malaga, Alicante and other cities from Bristol to enjoy all-inclusive holidays in Spain. Other popular tourist locations such as Corfu, Bodrum and Cyprus are also accessible from the airport.
