Qatar Airways will double the amount of flights travelling from Manchester to Doha
More passengers will be flying with Qatar Airways between Doha and Manchester after the airline announced that it will double the number of flights connecting the two destinations.
The company will add an extra flight to the route which many people take on their way to destinations further afield in the Far East, South Asia, Australia and Africa. Two flights will now take people from England to Doha every day from June 1.
Worldwide travel insurance can be extremely useful for people who make frequent trips to such far flung locations and offers maximum flexibility with cover lasting from one day to a year.
Akbar Al Baker, who is the chief executive of Qatar Airways, said: "Manchester has long proved to be one of our successful routes so it was only a matter of time before we could deploy additional capacity into this market.
Manchester Airport managing director Andrew Harrison said: "The long haul network at Manchester continues to get stronger and Qatar's commitment to Manchester by going double daily underlines the strength of the market in northern England.
"Our leisure and business passengers want the frequency that is being provided by airlines like Qatar Airways and we know it'll prove popular in the years ahead."
