The announcement will likely affect many people jetting off on summer breaks
Flights between Niagara Falls, New York and Myrtle Beach in South Carolina will be cancelled due to runway building works, Spirit Airlines has announced.
Flights will be affected from May 15 to June 20 due to the work at Niagara Falls International Airport, the airline said.
Services between Niagara Falls and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, will also be grounded from the same date until June 30.
The announcement reminds holidaymakers how important it is to take out
travel insurance as people can never be sure of what may crop up. So, remember, if you're jetting off this summer - don't leave without cost-effective travel insurance from World First.
Jake Filene, the airline's vice president of airport services, said: "We apologise for the inconvenience that this causes our customers and we look forward to resuming our Niagara Falls service as soon as the runway construction project is complete."
