An exclusive retreat in the Maldives has been named the best hotel in the world.
Gili Lankanfushi took the top spot in TripAdvisor's Travellers' Choice hotel awards 2015, followed by the Nayara Hotel in Costa Rica.
The annual awards are based on the travel booking and review website's millions of user reviews commenting on hundreds of thousands of hotels over the past 12 months.
Here's the full list of the top 10 hotels in the world.
1. Gili Lankanfushi
This exclusive resort on the Kaafu Atoll comes with a private butler service and a "no news, no shoes" philosophy which encourages visitors to go barefoot and forget about their worries. All this luxury does not come cheap - expect to pay around £1,200 per night for the cheapest room. Arrange some specialist travel insurance before heading off to these beautiful islands.
2. Nayara Hotel, Spa & Gardens
Location: Costa Rica
Outdoor tubs and showers and spectacular views of a nearby volcano are just some of the highlights awaiting guests at this luxury boutique hotel. Situated in the middle of a national park, the resort offers fine cuisine and a range of spa treatments, excursions such as a night forest walk and a trip to a hanging bridge, as well as eco-experiences such as bird-watching trips and a safari float adventure.
3. Shinta Mani Club
Shinta Mani Club in Siem Reap is an upscale boutique hotel designed by architect Bill Bensley, known as the "king of exotic luxury resorts".
