The best rental deals this summer are to be found in the Canary Islands
Spain is the place to find the best holiday rental accommodation deals in Europe this summer, according to TripAdvisor. The travel website found the Canary Islands, and the Spanish mainland destinations of Andalucia and Valencia all represent value for money.
The average weekly cost of a bedroom in the Canary Islands for the period July 13 to September 7 is £296, while the cost in Andalucia and Valencia is £310 and £321 respectively. Money saved on accommodation can be spent on things like more comprehensive
travel insurance, giving you extra peace of mind on your trip.
Meanwhile, Campania in Italy is the most-expensive European location in the survey - at £696 - with Ile-de-France, which includes Paris, at £563 and Provence in France at £561.
Commenting on the findings, TripAdvisor spokeswoman Laurel Greatrix said: "Holiday rentals are a great way to keep the travel costs down, especially for families and groups."
