Virgin Atlantic has the best online brand reputation, according to a study

A recent study of the digital standing enjoyed by firms shows that Virgin Atlantic has the best online brand reputation in the airline sector, while Ryanair has the worst.

According to Kaizo Advocacy Index, which looks at how companies in various sectors are perceived by customers, the British airline was appreciated for its in-flight experience and new air routes.

Though Virgin Atlantic scored 20% in the study, it did not fare well on social networks and basic internet searches.

British Midland Airways Limited bagged the second position (17%) in recognition of its positive media reviews.

News services, new routes and comments from social media fans generated positive news, while strikes and disruptions to services were looked on unfavourably.

People may find it useful to have an adequate travel insurance policy in place before embarking on long journeys.
