A 22-year-old man from Nottingham has given away a holiday to Malta
A couple, only named as Dawn and Stuart, have been chosen as the winners of a £1,000 four-star Malta holiday by a music teacher from Nottingham who had booked the trip for himself and his girlfriend before they split up.
Tom Frankenburg, 22, had advertised the holiday in a YouTube video and received almost 113,000 hits and 2,000 emails from around the world.
He has now posted a new video on the website, called Tom Goes Crazy and Gives His Holiday Away, in which he talks to the lucky couple about why they wanted to go on the trip.
The couple tell him that Stuart suffered serious head injuries in an attack last Easter and spent three months in hospital.
Dawn adds: "We don't want to spend our lives thinking about these people because they've done what they've done, they've now been punished and our life is now focused on getting Stuart better."
The holiday includes return flights from East Midlands Airport, accommodation at a four-star hotel and car rental. The couple are advised to arrange their own
travel insurance or else risk making a free holiday very expensive if a mishap occurs.
