The British holiday market is beginning to boom as a result of travellers cutting back on the expense of their holidays.
It has been reported in the Sun that both Brits and holidaymakers from around Europe are choosing to vacate to caravans and motorhomes in Britain as a way of trimming back on costs.
However, holidaymakers enjoying this sort of break are still advised not to forget to take out travel insurance to cover for them for any loss or damage to their belongings.
Also those that are intending on heading to the sun for their summer holidays should take the same advice.
Because of the current financial conditions hitting people not only in the UK but also across Europe firms that rent out caravans have seen a 150 per cent hike in inquiries within the last six months.
Alvin Wiggins of the Motorhome Group in Nottinghamshire, told the Sun: "My customer enquiries have doubled and my business is booming this summer.
"I've also had a surge in holidaymakers from the continent."
