Britons cause hoteliers most nightmares

If you believed that the German's were the most annoying tourists for wearing socks with their sandals then you were wrong after recent research found that the British are the holidaymakers that cause the biggest nightmares for hoteliers.
In the research from travel company Expedia, Britons were not only described as being rude, messy and loud, they were also criticised for eating almost the same quantities of food as Americans.
Surprisingly the Americans and Germans, along with the Japanese were considered to be the best behaved tourists, in the study of 4,000 hoteliers.
However the survey didn't criticise the British for their inabilities to learn the local dialect when abroad and they were actually voted as the best-dressed tourists in the study.
Also despite all their negatives Britons are liked by hoteliers because they spend a lot of money when on holiday.
British holidaymakers intending to go on an up-tempo holiday should be reminded to take out travel insurance in case they lose or damage any of their belongings.
However if the sun is the main reason for taking a vacation then Cancer Research UK warns travellers to protect their bodies from skin damage, especially in the hottest temperatures.
