London City Airport improving in 2008

Business travellers heading out of London's City Airport can now benefit from a new departure lounge and new routes this year as the airport gears up for a busy 2008.
A number of new routes are set to launch this year with four new aircraft parking stands being opened in the spring, while the departure lounge will benefit from 200 new seats.
Richard Gooding, chief executive of London City, told the Wharf: "There is no doubt that passengers all across London and the south-east are waking up to the options offered by this airport - not least the attractive five minutes taken to exit the terminal from the steps of the aircraft."
Despite the quick turnaround time at the airport, business travellers are urged not to forget their business travel insurance, which is vital for trips outside the UK and can cover for many potential problems involved with the trip.
