Brits 'seek cheaper holiday options'

British holidaymakers considering a eurozone getaway are searching for ways in which they can make their break cheaper, it has been noted.
And while looking for cheaper flights or low-cost accommodation could help with this, Brits may want to be wary of cutting back on potentially important holiday insurance cover.
Deputy editor at FrenchEntree.com, Nina Richards, said that UK holidaymakers planning a trip to France are looking for ways to combat the strong condition of the euro.
She went on to say that while the euro may have impacted some Brits' holiday budgets, choosing self-catering apartments or opting to stay on a campsite could help them keep control of their costs.
"It really depends on the type of holiday, for example, a camping holiday in Brittany is affordable to many families, whereas skiing in the French Alps is not," Ms Richards noted.
However, for those who decide to break the bank and take such a holiday, winter sports travel insurance to help cover the cost of any injuries obtained could prove to be an essential buy.
