Passengers flying long-haul with Austrian Airlines have helped the carrier scoop a prestigious catering award.
For the second year in a row, the airline's Business Class food has been recognised as the best in the industry at the international Skytrax Awards.
Economy Class passengers were also impressed with the company's cooking with Austrian managing to take third place in long-haul Economy catering category.
Chief executive officer Alfred Otsch said: "Once again we have successfully used our consistent quality and service offensive to reconfirm our leading status by comparison with other international airlines.
"Our cabin staff, DO & CO Catering, the in-flight chefs who refine our gourmet menus on long-haul flights and the Viennese coffee house service all serve to make us unmistakeable and unique by comparison with international competitor airlines."
The carrier also had another impressive win in the Cabin Staff in Europe category, managing to scoop first place.
Based in Vienna International Airport, Austrian Airlines flies to more than 130 destinations and was established back in 1957.
