Holland has 'a wealth of culture'

According to a survey from OnePoll, Holland was voted the most welcoming nation in the whole of Europe, which could interest those looking to get travel insurance and head to the country.

Holland could be an ideal place for Brits to head to for a break as it offers a "wealth of culture" as well as a friendly atmosphere, it has been claimed.

According to the Netherlands Board of Tourism and Conventions: "The Dutch are very warm, open, laid-back and have great respect for people. They enjoy speaking to visitors from different countries and often speak several languages making communication easier."

Holland is a popular place for holidaymakers to head to after getting holiday insurance and finding hotels and flights, with figures from the board showing that 1.75 million people from the UK and Ireland visited last year.

Well known draws for tourists include "classic attractions" like windmills and tulips, a spokesperson for the tourist board commented.
