Football fans head to Spain for UEFA clash

Hundreds of football fans are expected to jet off to Spain this week to watch Bolton Wanderers' UEFA cup clash with Atletico Madrid.

Travel firms in the Bolton area are already reporting a surge in the number of people booking flights for the game.

According to This is Lancashire, WanderersWays Travel has seen a huge increase in demand for flights into the Spanish capital ahead of the game.

Bolton fans are hopeful for a win, having beaten the Spanish team 1-0 at the Reebok Stadium last Thursday.

Tickets for the match have already sold out but fans are expected to still fly out to Spain to support the team from one of the various bars and pubs which will be screening the match.

Experts recommend that passengers always ensure they have adequate travel insurance before they fly, even if they are simply heading abroad for a couple of days to catch a football game. ADNFCR-1320-ID-18471978-ADNFCR
