Brazil tourism 'will get boost' from Games

The tourist industry in Brazil will be given a shot in the arm by the country's hosting of the 2016 Olympic Games.
Last week, the South American nation was awarded the chance to hold the Games after beating competition from Chicago, Madrid and Tokyo.
Speaking about the positive impact that the event could have on the tourism industry in Brazil, Laura Rendell-Dunn, from Journey Latin America, said: "It is great for tourism as anyone visiting the Games will like to spend the rest of their time in Brazil and visit the beautiful beaches, waterfalls and jungles it has to offer."
Even though the Games are a number of years away, Brits may want to start planning their break now and could find it wise to sit down and consider which sporting events they want to check out.
Getting travel insurance and securing accommodation in the country could also be a good move as hotels may book up quickly over coming months.
