'More to Brazil' than Rio

Holidaymakers planning on getting travel insurance and jetting off to South America have been urged to make sure they check out more in Brazil than the city of Rio.
Travel editor at Lonely Planet Tom Hall said that the country is "hugely varied" and despite the fact that Rio is "the one thing that everybody thinks about" the nation has more to offer.
"If you're exploring the south, Sao Paulo's reputation as a cultural hot spot is growing seemingly by the month. [It] has fantastic night life and dinning, wonderful museums and a really exciting feel to it," he advised.
As well as Sao Paulo, holiday insurance customers from the UK may want to head to the north-east of Brazil, as there are "endless numbers" of beaches which are also close to cities - ideal for those who want the mix of relaxation and partying on a break.
Figures from companiesandmarkets.com recently showed that more people are set to take a holiday to Brazil in the future, with numbers expected to hit 9.2 million by 2014.
