Easter travellers 'should consider' travel insurance options

With Easter coming much later this year, more people could be taking a spring break abroad and have been urged to take out a travel insurance policy.
According to jml-insurance.co.uk, it is important for holidaymakers to decide if they would be best served by single-trip or annual travel insurance.
The holiday insurance company explained that it is usually much cheaper to buy a single-trip policy if you will be travelling infrequently, although travellers will need to take out new insurance for every holiday.
"When people are on a tight budget, it is important to consider such options," it stated.
However, the company reiterated the importance of purchasing cover and added: "You never know if you are going to be delayed, lose your belongings or have an accident."
Earlier this month, Confused.com issued similar advice, suggesting that growing demand for single-trip travel insurance could encourage annual policy providers to add more value to their deals.
