Holidays make for happy families

Parents are being urged to take their youngsters abroad this summer after experts said a trip away can strengthen the family unit.
According to the Family Holiday Association, travelling with children can be a good opportunity to forge better relationships and ease tensions often built up through stresses at home.
John McDonald, the director of the group, said: "All the feedback that we have got indicates that a holiday makes for happier, stronger families."
He added that "simply spending time together and bonding" as a family is enough to see some progress.
"From the family's perspective, the single biggest improvement is simply spending time together and bonding. So a holiday, as we all know intuitively, is good for you."
This year, many families are opting to head out of Europe due to the euro's strength against the pound.
Parents are urged to ensure they take out adequate travel insurance which will cover them and their children while abroad.
