Families are increasingly travelling to Morocco because of improvement made within the country over recent years, it has been suggested.
According to Orion Trek Voyages, designer of custom holidays for groups and individuals, consumer confidence is growing in the North African tourist hotspot.
Jane Folliott, commercial director of the company, attributed these changing opinions of Morocco to its rapid development in terms of facilities over recent years.
Interestingly, she revealed that the country is a popular winter destination among Brits, particularly for those looking to escape the hype surrounding Christmas.
Ms Folliott said: "There are a couple of main high seasons which are Easter, the Christmas holidays and October's a really busy time and it often links around school holiday times.
"For people who want to get out of the drudgery of winter in Europe, it's perfect," she added.
A recent tourism report on Morocco, conducted by Business Monitor International, revealed that 6.72 million tourists visited the country from January to November 2007.
