Felicity Kendal has been on holiday in Barbados
Felicity Kendal showed off her impressive beach bod on a recent trip to Barbados. The 66-year-old actress, who became a national treasure while starring in the Good Life in the 1970s, was spotted looking incredibly svelte in a simple black swimsuit. The actress, who won 'rear of the year' in 1981, has always shunned plastic surgery and proved a good work ethic in the gym is the key to success.
Her figure shows regular exercise is key to achieving a great beach bod. Just before her appearance on Strictly Come Dancing three years ago, she said: "I'm afraid the bad news is girls you've got to do the work in the gym."
Any people in their sixties inspired by Felicity to work hard for a svelte beach figure should also remember to arrange
travel insurance for over-65s before jetting off.
Kendal impressed her fellow dancers, judges and the viewers alike with her physical fitness during her time on the BBC show. She said she dropped almost two dress sizes as a result of her eight-week run on Strictly, which allowed her to fit into the 26in waist jeans she wore while she was on The Good Life in the 1970s.
