An 88-year-old has visited more than 150 countries during her life
A travel company has hailed an 88-year-old widow who has visited more than 150 countries during her life.
Mrs Cole has been holidaying with Kuoni for some 70 years, which includes trips to adventurous locations such as Papua New Guinea, The Congo Basin, Nigeria, Madagascar and Ecuador.
London-born Mrs Cole first became interested in travel as a young girl, beginning in Russia in the 1950s, when she kipped on the floor of Victoria coach station to ensure she caught a 6am connection. Her passion is a testament to the saying 'it's never too late', with seniors travel insurance to ensure peace of mind before jetting off.
Sharon Frame, assistant manager of Kuoni's High Street Kensington shop, said: "Mrs Cole is the most inspirational lady I have ever known. Her knowledge of the world betters anyone else I have met; she is fearless, intrepid and yet always so calm in the face of all kind of unpredictable events."
