Travel insurance for over 65's tips

When it comes to travel insurance for over 65's, prospective holidaymakers should be sure to shop around for the best travel insurance cover.
That is according to the Daily Mail, which claimed that it can get progressively harder with age to find suitable holiday insurance, particularly for those over 70-years-old.
In particular, the newspaper earmarked annual worldwide policies as an option that can become "astronomically expensive" for older generations.
However, it added that premiums can be drastically cut by excluding cover to North America.
The Daily Mail also suggested that travellers can save money by doing without the possessions section of their travel insurance policy if their items are already covered away from home under household contents insurance.
Recently, the Association of Corporate Travel Executives found that managers are cutting down on unnecessary employee travel in order to reduce their operation costs.
