The cruise is to be based around the Harry Potter books by author JK Rowling
Over 600 places are available on a Harry Potter-themed 'Wizard Cruise' from Los Angeles this November. Hosted by Princess Cruises, Potter fanatics will be dressed in full wizard attire and equipped with wands.
The four-night California Coastal cruise is expected to become an annual event for the cruise line. It is being run in association with Whimsic Alley, an LA-based shop which sells gifts such as witches hats and other magical apparel.
"Guests will be entertained practically around the clock," said event coordinator Belinda Ervin. "They'll be overwhelmed. They literally won't know which way to turn." So whether you see yourself as a member of Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin, this experience is set to dazzle even the biggest of Harry Potter fans. Prices start from $650, including food, lodging, entertainment and activities, although cruise travel insurance will need to be purchased separately.
