People who are planning to go skiing in Chamonix may be interested in attending the Adventure Film Festival from August 19 to 24
This year's Adventure Film Festival will be held in Chamonix from August 19 to 24.
Sports travel insurance holders heading to the popular winter sports resort town in France can take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy independent short films born out of the quest for adventure, inspiration and authenticity in the outdoors.
The festival will open on August 19, and visitors can check out the films being screened at Le Majestic in Chamonix over three evenings.
The final event of the festival will be held at Lac des Chavants in Les Houches on August 24, with an outdoor film screening.
Film lovers interested in attending the festival can buy tickets from the Patagonia Store, in the centre of Chamonix, two weeks before the event.
Members of Ski Club will be offered a discount of one euro (£0.8) on a festival ticket.
This means they will pay nine euros (£7.9) for one night, 17 euros (£15) for two nights and 25 euros (£22) for three nights.
