An international hotel chain is establishing a new hotel in a ski resort
Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts has unveiled a significant new investment programme with the unveiling of a management contract to establish a luxury hotel in the iconic Gorky-Gorod mountain ski resort in Sochi.
The international hotel chain's new venture, to be known as the Swissôtel Sochi Gorky Gorod, is set to be the firm's first ever ski resort in a country which already has a well-established network.
Ski enthusiasts planning to head off to Sochi will want to grab a comprehensive
sports travel insurance policy in view of the forecasts of a harsh winter across most of Europe.
The new hotel will also play a key role in hosting the Winter Olympics slated to be held in Sochi in 2014.
Swissôtel's president Meinhard Huck said: "About 158 elegant rooms and suites, six penthouses, several restaurants and bars, as well as a Spa & Fitness Centre are planned for the new hotel."
