The Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) conferred the title with special mention for its Punta Dive and Vellmari Europe centres.
Xico Tarres, president of Ibiza Council, met with representatives from the diver training organisation to receive the award.
The Vellmari Europe centre was praised for its innovation and the wide range of online courses it offers.
