Guests are being invited to tee off at the finest championship course in the Middle East
Guests are being invited to tee off at the finest championship course in the Middle East as the World Travel Awards curtain-raiser kicks off in Dubai later this month.
The Middle East Classic gets underway at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa on 29 April, ahead of the WTA Middle East Gala Ceremony at the same resort 24 hours later.
And what better way to put your
sports travel insurance to good use than having the opportunity to play the same nine-hole, par 36 course as enjoyed by legendary golfers Tiger Woods and Ernie Els.
The event - open to attendees of the Gala Ceremony - includes complimentary green fees, golf buggy and club hire, a sleeve of three unique logo balls, on course drinks, tournament prizes, a buffet lunch and after-round drinks.
Designed by Peter Harradine and opened in 1998, each hole is landscaped with exotic trees, shrubs and unique desert flora, while a saltwater lake also comes into play on five of the nine holes.
