Lookout Pass Ski and Recreation Area get ready for the new skiing season, opening on Friday Novemeber 18
The famous ski area of Lookout Pass in northern Idaho, US is ready to open this season after receiving 21 inches of snow last weekend.
Lookout Pass Ski and Recreation Area staff are preparing for its opening day, scheduled for Friday November 18.
As more snowfall is also predicted for the coming week, skiers and riders will be waxing their boards in eager anticipation of the unexpected boon.
Spokesperson Bill Jennings said: "We're expecting a big dump Wednesday and Thursday.
It's supposed to keep on snowing, and we'll be opening in the middle of a snowstorm."
Lookout Pass plans to run the lifts Friday through Sunday this weekend.
