Pippa Middleton has completed a 56-mile cross country ski marathon for charity
Pippa Middleton went skiing for charity in Sweden, where she completed a 56-mile cross country marathon!
The event marked quite an impressive feat for Kate's sister, who finished 412th in the women's category, out of 16,000 contenders.
Pippa finished the marathon in seven hours and 13 minutes. Anyone embarking on such a mammoth undertaking must make sure they have
sports travel insurance in place in case the stresses and strains become too much.
She had prepared for the Vasaloppet ski race for only a couple of weekends, she told Swedish broadcaster SVT, saying the ordeal was tiring.
The event was held to raise money for children's charity Magic Breakfast, which provides free breakfast to primary schools in the UK's most deprived areas.
Pippa was joined in the race by her brother James, who took six hours and 47 minutes to complete the course.
The winner finished the race in three hours and 38 minutes.
