Easter 'will see good snowfalls in ski resorts'

Winter sports enthusiasts who are going on a European ski trip over the Easter holidays may be pleased to know that they can expect a good snowfall.
While we may have said goodbye to the white stuff in Britain (touch wood), France and Italy are still seeing a good covering, which is great news for those set to take to the slopes.
Vanessa Fisher, spokesperson for the Ski Club of Great Britain, said more snow is expected in the Alpine area as we head into April.
She encouraged keen skiers to book holidays in French resorts like Meribel and Val d'Isere, as they tick all the boxes when it comes to good skiing.
"They've got large ski areas and the resorts are often connected to somewhere else … there's a good range and a variety of skiing terrain," Vanessa added.
Last month, easyjet revealed that four out of its top five most popular ski resorts are in France, with Chamonix topping the charts.
And if you're going on a ski trip, don't forget our winter sports travel insurance cover, which includes injury, piste closures and loss or damage of skis and snowboards.
