Questions about sports and activities on holiday

Does my policy cover sports and activities?

We're big believers in getting active on holiday. It's the reason our policies come with complimentary cover for over 75 sports and activities – including bungee jumping, jet skiing and tennis. No charge. We can also cover hundreds more activities for an additional fee – such as skydiving, sand boarding and rock climbing. Find out more here.

Do you cover winter sports?

We sure do! And our specialist policies provide cover for your equipment as well as things like piste closure. We can also cover off-piste runs and more unusual activities like mono skiing and snow tubing – all on one thoughtful policy. Just add your chosen sports extension when getting your quote. Find our more here.

I'm going on a golfing holiday. Is my equipment covered?

Hitting foreign fairways? Our golf extension gives you cover for your green fees as well as your golf equipment – whether it's your own or hired – for just a small addition to your premium. The golf extension is available with both single-trip and annual policies. Find out more here or get in touch with our customer service team.

Can I make changes to my policy?

Yes, of course. It's easy to make changes to your policy – whether you want to change your dates of travel, your destination details or your cover limits. Simply get in touch with our customer service team on 0345 90 80 161 or use the link on our Contact Us page to request a call back.

Can I declare my medical conditions online?

Yes, no problem. The step-by-step process is easy to complete online – and should take no longer than five or ten minutes. Start a new quote here and find a policy that works for you.

What happens if I need emergency medical assistance abroad?

Once you have contacted the local emergency services, please contact Emergency Assistance Facilities as soon as you can. They operate our medical assistance service and are available 24/7 to provide you with information and support. They will even liaise with foreign medical facilities on your behalf if necessary. All the information you need is on this page.

Is repatriation covered?

Yes, it is. Our policies provide up to £10,000,000 cover for medical costs. That includes the cost of repatriation.
