Thomson Airways has launched a new guide to help air passengers have a comfortable long-haul flight.
It comes after a survey found that more than six in 10 (64%) travellers who reach their final destination at night have difficulties falling asleep.
Nearly a third (32%) suffer a stuffy nose, with 15% complaining of dry skin and 14% of chapped lips.
The guide is specially designed to help passengers avoid jetlag. Another way travellers can help ensure a stress-free holiday is by taking out
travel insurance before they jet off.
Around 70% of 1,264 people who took part in the study carried out by the charter airline said they do little or no exercise during lengthy air journeys.
Meanwhile 41% confessed that they drink only a little water on long-haul flights, while 7% said they do not drink water at all.
