More than twelve thousand Swiss football fans turned out to a road show in Zurich to celebrate the upcoming UEFA championships in the summer.
Held inside the world's largest tent at Zurich's Sechseläuten Square, EURO experience tour includes a 140-seat cinema which shows at regular intervals a 25 minute film on the history of the UEFA European Championships.
Zurich mayor, Elmar Ledergerber, said that the anticipation of the football event was increasing across the continent.
"This tour is a special experience for the people and football fans of the city and the Zurich region, and the excitement about the EURO is increasing as a result of it," he said.
UK football enthusiasts planning to go to any of the fixtures are being encouraged to look into annual travel insurance as a cheaper alternative to single-trip cover.
Among the attractions were a multi-media zone, a hot-air balloon shaped like the trophy and an opportunity for fans to be photographed with the Henri Delaunay Trophy.
The EURO 2008 cup will be held in Austria and Switzerland between the 7 and 29 June.
