Wine connoisseurs have been recommended a trip to New Zealand as the perfect tipple this winter.
With the country exporting some 23 million litres of wine to the UK every year, it is Cristal clear that New Zealand is home to some of the world's finest sauvignons.
For those who prefer a frosty pint to a glass of pinot noir, New Zealand is also known throughout the world for its abundance of pubs and bars.
Experts on wine, Neil Phillips and Chris Scott, said: "America and Australia are both very good places for wine tourism, but with New Zealand in particular the good thing about wine tourism … is you get to rock up, taste some fantastic wine and great cuisine - and it's all done with a bit of chilled Kiwi style."
Research by the winemakers Montana found that nearly a third of people in the UK have at least ten bottles of wine in their home.
