Croatia is the next hotspot to give travellers a satisfying break, according to In Your Pocket.
Visnja Arambasesc, editor of In Your Pocket's guide to Croatia, has stated that more and more tourists are visiting Croatia every year and are becoming increasingly satisfied with what they are being offered.
She added that some of the ingredients that make Croatia so attractive are its culture, castles, nature and domestic food.
However despite the rise in appeal she goes on to state that it is currently not that easy to buy a house in Croatia, but this should improve in the next few years.
If Croatia is to be the destination of choice for some travellers in the summer then they should make sure they take out a suitable travel insurance policy which covers them for any activities they intend to do.
Specialist insurance is available including group travel insurance or gap year travel insurance for those in larger groups.
Official statistics showed that 11.2 million tourists visited Croatia in 2007, a seven per cent rise on the 2006 figure of 10.4 million.
