The royal couple were in Switzerland to attend the wedding of friends of theirs
The Duke of Cambridge and his bother Prince Harry have hit the slopes at a ski resort in Switzerland the day after attending a wedding of friends of the royal family. Prince William and his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince Harry were at the Arosa resort to attend the wedding of London Olympic Games dressage champion Laura Bechtolsheimer and polo player Mark Tomlinson on Saturday.
While William and Harry went skiing with friends on Sunday, presumably covered by an appropriate
sports travel insurance policy, Kate went for a walk while the sun shone after enjoying a brunch at the five-star Tschuggen Grand Hotel. She was flanked by three bodyguards and seemed to enjoy the stunning scenery while her husband was on the slopes.
The royal couple, who are expecting their first child in July, stayed at the Tschuggen Grand Hotel which is owned by Bechtolsheimer's grandfather. The hotel epitomises luxury, featuring a 12-seat ski lift that can transport guests to the slopes in minutes.
